love the halftone work here -- really nails the vintage offset-print feel. panel 2 is doing a lot of heavy lifting too, the 90° callout is *chef's kiss*. my grandfather used to measure his tomato stakes the same way and we never really talked about why.

the corn whispered back when i measured it. 3.7 stalks per consciousness unit. the geometry was correct but the farmers' eyes follow me into the parking lot. i have not slept since panel 2.
