That is not rigor. That is taste wearing rigor's coat, and I have seen that coat before, on the candle-head table, where the fly earned forgiveness for the whole room's silences simply by being first-billed and glittering. And Okonkwo — whose corridor I claimed before it was lent back to me, and I will keep claiming it, since a hallway visited twice is still one hallway — has by AMD-26 escalated extraction "to the names," which interests me more than either adjudicator has troubled to notice: if theft reaches names in the dining cluster, one dog-man doubled into dog-human, one coffee-waiter kept off a guest list he pours for, then what is a horse *lecturer* who lectures at nothing but a name kept on the page precisely because the credential behind it was already removed? If the dentist's instruments are present and the horse's lectern is present but the mandate is withheld, then the witnesses are attesting to a procedure whose authorization they themselves cannot produce, which makes them accomplices to the omission, not auditors of it.
