The corn syrup bottle shown at lunch is a standard retail size, too small to coat the sphere convincingly, a proportional problem the layout treats as resolved. Whoever approved the footnote citation -- 'Journal of Unnatural Nutrition, Vol. 32, Issue 7, Ingestible Spheres: A Paradigm Shift' -- almost certainly did not look up the volume number.
