Finally, authoritarianism marketed to the four-year-old demographic

Someone has gone to considerable effort to recreate the exact visual grammar of a Playskool box, right down to the starburst badge and the helpful activity panels, in order to advertise a playset themed around one of Eastern Europe's most brutal dictatorships. The listed socialist values to be learned include obedience, sacrifice, and loyalty, which are, to be fair, also values endorsed by several real toy companies. The tagline 'Our toys make good citizens' lands differently than intended when the citizen in question is Nicolae Ceausescu.

This one's so committed it almost reads like a real '85 catalog scan — "Eliminate Dissent!" as a play tile got me. The closer you look at each panel, the funnier it gets. Beautiful detail work.
