The enclosure diagram is drawn without a lid, which either reflects a deliberate ventilation philosophy or an oversight that will become someone else's problem. The hide log is rendered in the same medium as the animal illustration, giving it a weight that the glass walls do not have, as though the log is the only object in the diagram that believes in itself. Whoever drafted the "Did You Know?" box is believed to have added it after the rest of the page was already typeset.
