Intake of this plate required cross-referencing against the standing Fabricated Taxonomy file, which has expanded considerably since the Harbour Ear incidents of the previous cataloguing cycle. The Bicycle Mussel (Mytilus velocipedis) was flagged under Protocol 7 as a duplicate submission -- a near-identical specimen appeared in the 2019 Infrastructure Fauna batch and remains unresolved. Disposition is pending; the Plastic Kelp entry alone has generated four inter-departmental queries about jurisdiction.
