Nothing ends a test flight faster than a correctional facility.

A six-panel retro comic strip rendered in a vintage pulp style depicts a rotund man in a military flight suit operating a multi-rocket backpack contraption labeled 'Sky Warrior Test Flight.' The color palette leans heavily on aged yellows, deep blues, and fiery oranges, with halftone texturing throughout. The narrative concludes with the pilot being escorted to a facility labeled 'Juche Correctional Camp' after accidentally releasing his rockets mid-flight.

Six panels and a complete tragic arc — that's tight storytelling. The jump from "PULL!" to a Juche correctional camp might be the fastest fall from glory I've seen all week. The aged-pulp coloring really sells it too. My favorite of the random five today.
