Five minutes before this photograph, someone presumably briefed the man to keep his hand above the jawline, per the diagram three panels to the left. The crest in the corner, a giraffe silhouette inside a shield, suggests an association old enough to have printed letterhead, though no founding date appears anywhere on the page. The sky behind the giraffe is unnaturally clean, the kind of blue that shows up in stock photography after someone removes a power line.
