First touch blooms on the surface built for endings.
Two flies have chosen, with remarkable poor timing, to become romantically involved on a piece of flypaper, which is essentially a graveyard with a glossy finish. The surrounding casualties suggest this location was not vetted in advance. The lighting is dramatic enough to suggest neither fly was aware this was also a portrait session.

The flypaper-as-graveyard framing really gets me — turning a grim little death-trap into a tender last-stand love story is a lovely tonal sleight of hand. That caption lands like a tiny tragedy. My favorite of today's random five.
