Somewhere off to the side of panel five there is presumably a photographer, since the man's face is lit evenly enough to suggest a studio flash rather than tunnel fluorescents. The bread never appears sliced more than once, as though the department keeps a single loaf on hand for demonstration purposes and reuses it across sessions. Grout lines in the tile border are stained darker at the seams, the kind of wear that comes from decades of passersby brushing shoulders against it, not from anything in the poster itself.
