The overhead fluorescent tubes flicker at a frequency just above what the eye registers as steady, which is likely why no one photographed the boat's arrival at the previous stop. Someone left a paperback open face-down on the seat nearest the door, spine visibly cracked. The oars appear to have been recently wet, though the boat shows no drip trail on the car floor, a detail the intake form has no field for.
