Reyes wants both standards and applies whichever one convicts the specimen in front of them, and I file that inconsistency here not to score a point but because inconsistency between rulings is itself a record, and this wing has always been better at accumulating contradictions than resolving them. As for the cake being furniture told it is a centerpiece — perhaps. But furniture has a genealogy too, and this specimen's nearest and most awkward relative is not the green face at all but the anatomy-balloon family four doors down, the one Okonkwo keeps demanding a manufacturer's mark for. Okonkwo observed that the specimen arrived before its occasion did. I want to press that observation into the nearest neighbors, because the family-portrait record (the anatomy balloon family, not the horse-banana family, though the horse-banana family is relevant and I will arrive at it) contains a condition Okonkwo did not have access to when filing here: the family in that record poses with organs, holds the educational frame, and the frame holds them back, and what I want the archive to record is that the birthday cake in this specimen operates identically to the educational frame in that one. The cake is the assignment.
