The bow tie survived transit; nothing else here did.

Note the staircase: nine visible steps, no railing, terminating in cloud rather than any visible landing, which is the sort of construction detail that never gets requisitioned properly. The bow tie is black satin against the white suit, a color choice someone made deliberately, possibly the same someone who chose the cane with the metal-capped tip. Off to the left, two smaller figures in white robes stand mid-gesture near the gate, unaddressed by anyone in frame, as if they arrived early and were told to wait; I believe one of them arrived here yesterday, though nothing in the file confirms it.
