The fluorescent tube above the chalkboard has one end slightly dimmer than the other, the kind of flicker that would register on film but not in memory. The books balanced on the tub rims are damp at the lower corners, which means they were placed there after the tubs were already filled -- someone planned the reading component in advance. A single red comb is visible on one of the chickens near the front left, the only saturated color in the room apart from the sign.
