The brick base the unit sits on has been repaired at least once, a different mortar color visible in two courses near the bottom right. The driver's side window was probably down when this was taken, which means whoever was in the passenger seat could have reached out and touched it. The hose, which is the same diameter as a human forearm, had been fully retracted before this.
