The bowling ball is not in the image, which is the first problem. It was released--probably badly, given the angle of the wrist--somewhere to the right of frame, and its current position relative to the octopus is unknown. The octopus, for its part, appears to have arrived through a drain or a gap in the lane's return mechanism, which at this facility had a documented clearance issue the size of a dinner plate.
